MEET THE TEAM

TRAVIS DYE

Travis grew up primarily in Missoula with a few years spent in Helena. He started college at the University of Montana, then went to Seattle University before returning to the University of Montana where he obtained his undergraduate degree in Political Science and Sociology/Criminology and his law degree. During law school, Travis was a staff member and co-editor-in-chief of the Montana Law Review and interned at the Missoula County Attorney’s Office. After law school, he clerked for the Honorable Donald W. Molloy, then-Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Montana. He has been a lawyer since 2001. Outside the law, Travis enjoys biking, hiking, soccer, skiing, and many other activities.

HELIA JAZAYERI

Helia Jazayeri was born in Iran, raised in Southern California, and after globe-trotting in her twenties, has been a Missoulian since she landed here in 2007. Helia graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies. During her undergraduate studies, she studied abroad in England and Sweden.  Upon graduation she served as a ProWorld Service Corps volunteer in Belize where she worked for the sole human rights attorney in the country.  Helia graduated from the University of Montana School of Law in 2010.  During law school, she served as the notes editor as well as the symposium editor for the Montana Law Review.  She was a legal intern in Washington, D.C., for Senator Max Baucus after her first year of law school where she primarily focused on the legal and public health issues associated with asbestos contamination in Libby, Montana.  She also served as a clinical intern at the Montana American Civil Liberties Union during law school, upon graduation, was appointed to the Board of Directors where she served as Montana's representative to the national ACLU Board from 2012 to 2014. Helia was an associate attorney at Kalkstein & Dye (formerly Kalkstein, Johnson & Dye) from 2010 to 2020. She has been on the Board of Directors of YWCA of Missoula since 2017 and served as its President in 2022. 

  

Helia is a member of the Montana Bar Association, the Western Montana Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.  She is admitted to practice in all Montana State and Federals Courts.
